Each morning I wake up early to get ready for school. School once didn’t matter to me, but now that I’ve begun to be self-motivated. It’s become my top priority.

I feel the same. I didn't go to school for a month and got sent to foster care over it. But now I know it's my priority to come to school. Because I want to do what's best for myself and I also know that it's important.
Every morning I wake up knowing that it will be a struggle. That doesn't mean I give up. It just gives me more motivation. I know I will be out of the system someday.
I never liked school before. Now I have been put in the system and forced to do something I don't want to. I actually can say I'm glad it happened and I'm heading somewhere I like.
