Creed Virtues

Respect yourself before you respect others. Respect others before you respect yourself. Respect goes both ways between you and others. Don’t be entitled to respect.

Respect is a huge part in my life. By learning to respect myself, I have found myself respect others a lot more. It is kind of like karma, you get the respect that you give.

Respect has always been a big thing for me I try to show respect to everyone even when they don't show respect in return. If more people could learn to show respect I believe the world would be a better place.

It does go both ways you can't respect others if you don't respect yourself. Respect goes both ways no matter what. Respect is earned.

I think respect is important. I feel that to be respected, you must respect others. Respect your elders, respect your family, respect your friends.

Lately I find myself in this type of a situation. Respect truly does go in opposite ways, but at the same time it makes you the better person when you can respect even when disrespected. Summit has a very big lack of this, which is why I still continue to respect even inanimate objects, such as the building itself, when others don't.

I must agree. we must all have respect for ourselves first before we can truly have respect for our peers. in order to get respect you need to be respectful as well

I can relate to this blog. Respect is very important. I think here at summit you showed respect before you get it.

True, it does go both ways. A lot of people can benefit from this lesson if they were simply open to learning it.
